I've been trying to scrap as much as I can before ScrapMatters closes it's doors at the end of the month. Here's what I've done this past week....
I have been drooling over this kit, The Simple Life by Meagan's Creations, FOREVER. The colors are just to die for. I had to grab it before it's too late and I just LOVE the way this page came out.
I also figured I should get started on some pages for our newest addition who will be here soon. This kit is Our New Princess by Wimpychompers. (I also used the matching alpha.)
Last, but not least, I used On The Trail by Clever Monkey Graphics and Meagan's Creations (as well as a Template from Meagan, too) to make this page...

Sad News
You may have already heard, but ScrapMatters will be closing it's "doors" at the end of this month. My heart is so heavy over this! I started lurking around ScrapMaters six years ago and then I finally officially joined in early 2008. It has been my digiscrapping home ever since and I've loved being a part of the community there. I'm not sure what site I will be moving to, but I'll probably take a little break first anyway (seeing as I'm about to have a baby!).
Until then, however, I am doing as much scrapping as I can!! :)
I finally had a chance to scrap some Halloween pictures and I used I Heart Halloween by Crossbone Cuts Designs. I just love the traditional colors and I love that the kit is not too spooky, but not too "cutesy" either. Perfect!
The other kit I played with this week is one I've been eying for a while because of the adorable owls and beautiful color palette, so I finally snagged it! It's Hoo-ray for Fall by Down This Road Designs (you can find the full bundle here).

Happy Halloween!!!
Wow, I can't believe October is over! Yikes!! What a fun time of year, though... I can't wait to scrap some pictures of my kids in their Halloween costumes! I also have apple picking pictures, and the pumpkin patch, of course. Whew!
Until then, here is what I've been working on....
For this page, I used Goodbye Summer by Amy Wolff and a Cut It Out! template by Jamie Seaward. I just love the navy blue and mustard yellow together in this kit.... perfect end of summer colors!
For this one, I used Count Every Blessing by KimB's Designs, which is SUCH a gorgeous kit! It's hard to tell because I picked dark blue for the background, but this kit has so many soft, pretty colors in it!
Also, do you remember this layout that I posted not too long ago? Well, I used it to make a template for one of October's Tuesday Template challenges so hurry and go snag it if you want it! :)

Manic Monday!
Every third Monday at ScrapMatters is Manic Monday and that means kits for 50% off!! Designers select two or three of their products to put on sale, so if you've had your eye on an older kit, now is the time to go check if it's on sale! Products are 50% off today only.
I had some scrapping time yesterday, so I played with a few of the Manic Monday kits...
This kit is Adjust Your Sails by Litabells Designs.
This one is Couch Potato by Kaye Winiecki. I also used another of those Tightly Twisted templates from Zoliofrope, which you can find in Mixed Matters grab bag #1 until 10/24!

Mixed Matters!
I'm finally on the ball enough to post about the Mixed Matters grab bags BEFORE they're gone! Go me! ;)
Mixed Matters grab bags are a great way to get a bunch of awesome stuff from the ScrapMatters designers for a great price. They are available through October 24th, and as an added bonus... there will be a winner drawn from the purchasers of EACH grab bag who will win a $10 gift certificate to the store! How awesome is that?
Anyway, I played with a template by Zoliofrope, which you can find in Grab Bag #1. Have you noticed how often I use her templates? Because they're awesome.
I also used Love You Every Day mini kit by Andilynn Designs as well as the matching Little Extras. (You can also just grab the whole bundle... it includes a super cute alpha that I didn't have the chance to use yet!)

Two more for October
I had fun playing with this kit, Not How the Story Ends by Captivated Visions. It's a little different from my normal scrapping style, but I really love how this page turned out. It was fun for me to get away from scrapping pictures of my kids for one layout and to do something more artistic!
{I re-used an old template freebie of mine for this page. If you want it, you can find it HERE.}
I also scrapped a page with this adorable kit... just look at that cute owl!! It's Project Fall- Apple Picking by Juno Designs and Amanda Yi. We have plans to do some actual apple picking this fall, so you might see this kit again! ;)
