All you need is Love.

Well, I had a super busy weekend and didn't get a chance to post my "Battle of the Creative Teams" Round 2 layout here on the blog. The challenge had to do with music. Our team decided to do the song "All you need is love" by the Beatles. We each took a line of the chorus to use as the title of our layout. Here is my layout "Love":

I used Sarah's Feels Like Home kit.

In other news.... Sarah Bennett has a new kit out today called Remember Me and it is SO cute. Best of all, it's only A DOLLAR today!!! Can you believe that?? Hurry and grab it because it's only on sale for today!

I can't wait to play with this adorable kit!! Oh, and go check out Sarah's blog because she has a FREE add on for you if you stop by!

Erica Zane also has something new this week. She's releasing an adorable and creative new date pack tomorrow! I've already done a page using one of the date elements, so I'll post it tomorrow... stay tuned! :)

Battle of the Creative Teams 2009!!!!

As I mentioned, I'm participating in the Battle of the CTs over at Digiscrap Addicts. I'm on the "Bennett's Babes" team, scrapping for Sarah Bennett (obviously). Basically, they give us a challenge each week and the public votes on the best layouts. It's gonna be so much fun!! Make sure you go vote on Monday! :)

This week is Round 1 and the challenge was "White Space". Here's what I came up with:
The great outdoors
I used Backyard Friends and Scribbly Alpha by Sarah Bennett, and I lifted Peppermint's amazing page Family Keepsake.

On another note, I also did the Tuesday Template challenge at Scrap Matters. I really love the page I did:
Wooden door

It's a companion page to this one I did a while ago:
Big brother

The kit I used for these is Falling Dusk by Erica Zane.

Seriously Spotted!

Sarah Bennett has a fun new collection of papers and alpha out today! The bright colors are so fun and I LOVE polka dots!

You can buy each pack individually, but if you buy them all together, it's cheaper. Today only, you can get them ALL for only $2.50!! Also, you can run over to Sarah's blog for a FREE solid paper pack that coordinates with these polka dotted ones!

Here's a page I did with the papers:
The elements on this page are all from Sarah's Feels Like Home kit and the alpha is her Scribbly Alpha.

Happy belated 4th of July!!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I totally thought I blogged about Sarah Bennett's new kit, but I didn't!! Silly me.

So, without further ado, here it is! Let Freedom Ring:

This kit is obviously perfect for all your patriotic pictures... but it's so cute, it can be used for other pictures as well! Here's what I used it for:

My little guy is trying to do a thumbs up. I promise he's not making a rude gesture! ;)

Now that the weekend is over, I have a ton of new pics to use this kit for!
