Lots of layouts!

I was sick over the weekend and didn't get around to posting the layouts I did last week. Yes, I said layoutS. I was a good little scrapper last week! :)

I absolutely LOVE the layout that I did with Sarah Bennett's new kit, Tough Boy. This kit is SUCH an awesome boy kit and can be used for almost anything! If you visit Sarah's blog, you can download a really cute little add on for free!

Here's my page (I used Sarah's Clearly Funky alpha from last week, too.):
I also did this page for this week's Saturday Special. (I'm loving those Saturday Specials lately!) Cyndi taught us how to shadow clear elements, which has always driven me crazy!! I was so glad to learn an easy way to do it!

One of my other "layouts" this week was actually a hybrid card. I used Sarah Bennett's Old Time Christmas kit for it. (The green Christmas tree paper is actually from her Feels Like Home kit).
Christmas Card

This is a page I did using a kit from AnnaBV Designs called The Brightest Star of Christmas.
True Meaning

I wouldn't have done a page like this if I hadn't been inspired by her beautiful kit, but I LOVE how it turned out, and I'm so glad I scrapped this memory. Here's a preview of the kit:

Last, but not least, I also did a page with Erica Zane's new kit, Winter Crush.

It's times like these when I wish all my scrapbook pages didn't have to be so boyish. Look at all those cute pink things! I was able to make a page with it, though and I really love how it turned out!
Let it Snow

I also did this page for the scraplift challenge at Scrap Matters. I lifted Super Mom by Sarah8914.

WHEW! Was that enough pages for you? :) I will be enjoying the holidays and some family time this week, so you probably won't be seeing anything else from me for a little while. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!! :)

Saturday Special

Look at me... posting two days in a row! LOL

I just wanted to mention that Sarah Bennett is hosting the Saturday Special challenge over at Scrap Matters this week. She's teaching us how to emboss, which I never thought to do before, but it's really cool! If you're wanting to learn some new tips and tricks for scrapping or photo editing, check out some of the past Saturday Special challenges. There are some awesome tips in there!

I made this layout for the challenge (the snowflake is embossed):
Christmas Cousins

I used Happiest Season of All by Britt-ish designs for this page. I also used Britt's new alpha (Candy Stripped Alpha) and one of her new templates (Pocket full of Templates 4).

New Release Friday!

It's Friday, and that means new goodies at Scrap Matters!!

Sarah Bennett released this Clearly Funky Alpha at Scrap Matters today. I love it because the font she used makes it unique from the other acrylic alphas floating around out there! I can't wait to use it!

Speaking of Sarah Bennett, have you been visiting our CT blog every day? There have been some awesome freebies so far and they're still coming!

Also new at Scrap Matters today is this awesome Christmas kit by Erica Zane, called A Touch of Winter. I love the colors of the kit and the papers are especially fabulous!

Here's what I did with it:
Letter for Santa

I also finally had a chance to use Erica's awesome kit from last week, Jack's Track:

Erica is seriously the queen of boy kits, and this is another really awesome one! Here's the page I did with it:

I keep blogging announcements and stuff, but I keep forgetting to post pages I've scrapped! So, here are a few that I've done and not posted yet:

Everything I used for this page is by Sarah Bennett: Cut it Out V.2, Feels Like Home, and Remember Me.

This is a two-pager I did with Let's Get Together by Erica Zane and Denise Beatty Originals. I also used Erica Zane's EZ Paths V.1 for the journaling.
E- Give Thanks

This is the page I did for the template challenge I'm hosting at Scrap Matters. I used Erica Zane's Black Friday Grab Bag (Got Green?, EZ Neutrals Paper Pack, EZ Date Tabs).

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted, and I completely missed release day posts for Scrap Matters AND Sarah Bennett, but that's because this past weekend was Thanksgiving for me!! We went out of town and spent the weekend at my parents' house for an early Thanksgiving feast... and it was so fun!

But it's back to business today, and I've been trying to catch up on everything in the digi-scrapping world. I have quite a few things to share with you today!

First, here's a page that I did last week with a new release from Stolen Moments called Chocolate Covered Snow Flakes. I also used her new template pack, Scraps by Number: Just Call Me Lori. This kit has such adorable elements in it and I love the colors!

Playing in the snow

I used two other Scrap Matters new releases in this page:
Christmas Morning

Happiest Season of All is by Britt-ish Designs and is SUCH an adorable Christmas kit. This color combination is so cheerful!

I also used a new Template (Completely Clustered 2) from Saya's Blueprints. Her templates are fantastic!

Next up is Sarah Bennett's new release from yesterday:

Cut it out Vol. 2
These shapes are SO cute and I'm determined to get a layout done with them this week. Maybe tonight after the kids go to bed....

Last but not least, I wanted to let you know about Scrap Matters' Black Friday sale!!
I've seen the template pack (and contributed a template!) and it's seriously awesome!! You don't want to miss it!!

I'm still recovering from DSD weekend, are you? I do have two layouts to share....

I did this one for the Inspiration Point challenge at Scrap Matters and I love, love, LOVE how it came out!!!

Case Closed
I used Play by Sahlin Studio and DeCrow Designs (love this kit!) and Sarah Bennett's Scribbly Alpha.

The second page is the one I did for a speed scrap over DSD weekend.

The Huge Sprinkler
Everything is from Sarah Bennett except the alpha (Nikki Scott) and the button, circle element, and red stamp (Erica Zane).

It SNOWED here this week! I can't believe it!!! And I'm not talking about a few little flurries. We practically had a blizzard on Tuesday!!

More snow

I was hoping fall would last just a little bit longer! We did have an early Thanksgiving dinner with my husband's side of the family, though, which made it feel a little more "fall". I used a cute new kit from Erica Zane and Denise Beatty Originals to scrap the event.... it's in the store today! It's called Let's Get Together. I also used Erica's newest set of templates.

AE- Thanksgiving 09

I'll let you in on a little secret.... if you visit Erica's and Denise's blogs you just might be able to snag a couple of coordinating freebies! :)

I actually did a few other pages this week, too, but I can't show them to you yet! :) They will be coming up soon.... along with that template I've been promising.

Going Hybrid

I can't believe I didn't blog about this fun little project yet!! I completed my first real hybrid project last week and I love how it turned out! I used Sarah Bennett's newest kit, Crazy Beautiful for this. I was so excited to have a chance to use this fabulous kit!! (Since I don't usually git to scrap girly pages!)

I made this notebook:
Thoughts Notebook

And here's a closer look at the cover:
Thoughts notebook cover

I also used Hottie Tottie alpha by Britt-ish Designs.

It's Friday!

And that means new stuff at Scrap Matters!!

This week, I was able to scrap with Erica Zane's new kit called AJ Attitude. Erica is so good at boy kits and this one is no exception! It's awesome!!

For the page I did, I also used a template from Scrap Like Alli Templates by Chelle's Creations, which are new at Scrap Matters this week.

And here's my page:

What a Mess
Also used Scribbly Alpha by Sarah Bennett

The second page I did this week used Boo Bash by WM [squared] Designs, which came out last week. The new products I used for my page are Ticket Tape: Halloween by WM [squared] Designs and Bracketed Words: Halloween by Trixie Scraps.

I love how this page turned out, so I think I might make a template out of it..... stay tuned! :)
