Hello poor little neglected scrapping blog. It's been so long!

You may have wondered why I mysteriously stopped scrapping 2 months ago (if there's anyone out there left to wonder). My husband had to fire his office manager in May and so I took over the job, which means all my free time flew right out the window. After working, taking care of the kids, and trying to keep up with the house work, I was too exhausted to do anything else! On top of that, I've had some other craziness in my personal life, making my scrapping/blogging time non-existent.

Things are getting back to normal now, though, and I'm actually scrapping again. It feels good! So, without any more blabber from me, I'll just share a few of the pages I've done since I last posted.

Happy iNSD!!! And a template freebie!

Once again, it's been two weeks since my last post. The good news is that I finally have that template I've been promising! :)

Did you do anything fun for [international] Digital Scrapooking Day? There is SO much going on, and it's not too late to join in the fun, games, and sales! Scrap Matters has so much going on, you're sure to find something to do!

One of the best parts of iNSD is the grab bags. You can usually get 4 or 5 new products for $5 or less! Erica Zane teamed up with Denise Beatty Originals for her grab bag and it's truly awesome! Here's a page I did with it:
10 03 20 3 years old

Chelle's Creations also has a fabulous grab bag for sale this weekend. You won't want to miss the date stamps that are included in it. Chelle is the queen of stitched elements and these are awesome!

Here's a page I did with some of the stuff in Chelle's grab bag:
New Life

Here are some of the other pages I've done in the past two weeks:
You won't want to miss this collab from Sarah Bennett and WM[squared] Designs!

If you like this layout, you can grab the template I made from it on Chelle's blog.

Last but not least, this cute kit, designed for scouting and pinewood derbys, is also perfect for other car layouts:

Now for the long awaited template freebie! Happy iNSD!

Enjoy!

*Note: I usually provide links to the products I'm referring to, but I didn't this time because most of the scrapbooking sites are running slow with all the iNSD fun today! I'll add them later.*

Happy Birthday Sarah Bennett!

Well, I never did get you a template. Sorry! We had a death in the family last week, so things were a bit busy around here. Hopefully I'll be able to whip one up this week. There are three different ways that you can get free templates right now, though, all by visiting Sarah Bennett's CT blog! First, participate in the color challenge that is currently posted on the blog. You get a free template just for participating! Second, download Annisa's template freebie from the CT blog. Finally, download the free set of brag book templates that the CT is giving away to celebrate Sarah's birthday!
Photobucket

As if that wasn't good enough, Sarah is also offering a 28% off coupon code to her store in honor of her 28th birthday! The code will work from today until the 18th.

Now that we've talked about all the exciting stuff, here are the pages I've done this week....

Erica Zane has a new kit out that is just beautiful!
Photobucket

It's called What Say? and here's the page I did with it:
Jolie
I wanted to do something girly, so I used these pictures that I took of my friend's precious baby girl.

I did this page for the color challenge that I mentioned above. I used Spunky Monkey and All Wrapped Up by Sarah Bennett.
My Little Monkey

I've also been trying to get my youngest's ABC book done. I originally wanted to give it to him for his birthday, but that was last Saturday, so I'm just trying to finish it up as fast as I can. I got three more pages done this week:

Basketballs, date spots, and more Easter!

So, I totally missed last week's new releases and layouts! Yikes! I think I'll make it up to you by posting a template freebie sometime this week. Sound fair?

I thought so, too. :)

Anyway, I've got a little bit of catching up to do, so here we go...

Last week, Chelle's Creations released this awesome basketball kit, Slam Dunk. My youngest is obsessed with basketball lately and has requested a basketball party for his birthday, which is this weekend, so this kit couldn't have come out at a more perfect time for me! It also comes with add-ons for different team colors! You'll notice in my layout that I used the red team add-on.

I made this layout...
Nothing but net

...as well as this invitation for little man's birthday party:
I can't belive my baby is going to be 3!

As for this week, Erica Zane released these AWESOME date elements, EZ Date Spots. I can't tell you how in love I am with these.

Photobucket

I used the date spots along with AJ Attitude to make this layout:
Telescopes

Chelle's Creations also had another new release this week. Chelle is the queen of stitching and these Stitch Me Up Frames are awesome! The best thing about Chelle's stitching is that the holes are separate from the stitches so you can shadow them individually for a more realistic look.
Stitch Me Up Frames

I used them along with The Carrot Patch and The Carrot Patch Word Bites in this layout:

Easter basket

I told you I was already planing my next page with this cute Easter kit.... isn't that little bunny adorable??? This page was also for the Tuesday Template challenge at Scrap Matters.

That's it for this week, but stay tuned for that template freebie! :)

Is it spring yet??

I am SO ready for spring to be here!!! It's still a bit chilly here where I live, but the sun has been out and most of the snow is melted. I can't wait for warmer weather!!

In honor of spring (and Easter!), Chelle's Creations has released this adorable new kit today! It's called Carrot Patch... aren't those little bunnys just the cutest??
Photobucket

Here's the page I did with it. I'm already planning my next page with this kit... I still have most of my Easter pictures from last year to scrap! LOL
Egg Hunt

Erica Zane has released some fun new templates this week. I used one of them to make this layout for ADSR last week:
CTR
The credits for this page are super long, so I'll just link you up. :) {Credits}

I barely finished last week's second ADSR layout in time! Here's what I came up with, using My Boy by GG Digital Designs.
Someday

That's all that I've scrapped this week, but I did want to mention that Sarah Bennett is re-releasing Remember Me, one of my all-time favorite kits of hers.
Photobucket
She had this in her store at Funky Playground Designs, but now that it's closed, she's re-releasing it at Scrap Matters today. Here's a layout I made with it back when Sarah first created it:

Just two

I got two pages done this week, and I really, really love them both!

Sarah Bennett has a fun new kit out this week called Spunky Monkey. Don't you just love these colors??

Photobucket

I did this layout for one of the ADSR challenges this week. We had to come up with a bucket list of 50 things, which was actually realy HARD! lol I really love how the layout turned out, though.
Bucket-List

My first page for Chelle's CT is using her new Lucky Me alpha. This alpha is just in time for St. Patrick's day, but it's easy to recolor, so it's super versatile!

Photobucket

I also used Chelle's Everyday Memories collab with Juno Designs, and her Stitch Me Up: Grids for this layout.

Some CT news and a bunch of layouts

Well, I'm sad to say that my stay on the Scrap Matters CT has come to an end. It was so much fun and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity! On a happier note, I've been asked to join the CT for Chelle's Creations! Yay!! If you haven't ever checked out her stuff, you should because it's super cute!! Here store can be found at Scrap Matters.

I've been quite the busy little crafter this week. Here are the scrapping layouts I've worked on:

This one uses a new kit by Britt-ish designs called Animal Kingdom, as well as a Mini Blocks template by Plum Dumpling Designs
Hogle Zoo

This page uses a kit called d00d by Simply Scraps and Angie Kovacs. I just LOVE the colors in this kit!!
Interview with Evan
I did it for the scraplift challenge at SM and I lifted beautiful by mrsduke2u.

For this page, I used Vibrant Memories by Pri Rocha. Another kit with fabulous colors.
10 02 19 Bike Ride

My partner and I are still plugging along in the ADSR challenge. I had to do this page about myself this week. It was fun to use a girly kit for a change... I used this cute kit by Erica Zane called Cute Lil Kaylee.
Me

And finally, this page is also for ADSR and I used Shiver Me Timbers by Britt-ish Designs and one of the Mini Blocks Templates by Plum Dumpling Designs.
Pirate Party

*WHEW!*

And after all that, would you believe I had one other little craft to share??? I made these fun little party favors for my son's birthday party. We had a pirate theme, so I made these little pirate ships out of card stock and made the sail out of construction paper (and paint), and filled them with chocolate gold coins. They were a big hit!
Pirate gold
The template for these boats was a freebie, but I can't remember the site where I got it from! :(
