I mentioned in my last post that I had a couple of sewing projects in the works. I finished one of them last night! It's a nursing cover and I adore the end result!
So sweet and girly. :)
I used tutorials from Make It and Love It and Sew Much Ado as my inspiration, but ultimately I had to make some of it up because of the little ruffly detail...
...and the fact that I was working with a limited amount of fabric (definitely not enough to make it double sided!)
I also didn't have quite as much boning as what was recommended, but I think it will work out just fine.
I was worried about the double D ring strap being a bit tricky... especially since I'll probably be doing it one-handed, but it's actually really easy and convenient.
I think me and this nursing cover will get along just fine. :)

New templates and a SALE!
I only have one page to show for last week (although, in my defense, I have some really cute sewing projects in the works!)
Erica Zane has been whipping out the templates lately and I love it! Makes it so easy for me to get pages done! Her new set this week is EZ Originals v.3 and here's the page I did with one of them:
I used two of Erica's coordinating kits for this page: Underwater Escape and Tropical Escape. If you hurry, you can get Tropical Escape for 60% off! Erica is having a spring cleaning sale {Click here to get to her store.} and you can really score some killer deals. Better hurry, though. The kits she's got on sale will be retiring when the sale is over!

I'm excited to announce....
...that I've joined another creative team!! I'm super excited to now be creating for LDrag Designs. Her stuff is gorgeous! Her newest kit (a collab with Siamese Studio) is called Just Arrived and I am SO in love with the page I did with it! This is my sweet little niece.... makes me so excited to meet my own little peanut. :)
Starting Wednesday, LDrag Designs is celebrating her birthday with a sale! Don't miss it!
Also, if you sign up for her newsletter, you will get a coupon for an extra 10% off! You can sign up on her blog.
here's the other page I created this week:
Erica Zane has some new templates out this week that I used for this. I also used a conglomeration of some of her other products. {Click here for credits.}
And here's the one I did last week... for some reason I didn't blog it already!

A hat! (And a flower, of course.)
I was inspired by one of my favorite crafting blogs to make a little hat for baby girl. She just made it look so easy! (She makes everything look so easy. I love her tutorials.)
So, here's how mine turned out:
{Click here for hat tutorial}
I'm happy to report that for the first time in a LONG time (maybe ever?) I didn't need to use my seam ripper on this project! I can't brag too much because I did have to cut out the hat pieces three times before I cut it the right way (the "stretchiness" of the fabric needs to go from left to right). But, still! I'm making progress!
I just loved the fluffy little flower on these hats.
I even made the button myself! You can buy these button pieces and cover them with your own fabric (thanks to my friend Becca for teaching me that!).
I don't currently have anything for baby to wear that this hat will match with, so I might just have to try a little dress next. :)

Bubble Bath!
So I already mentioned that I couldn't wait to use Erica Zane's new baby kit, First Time Ever, to do a page for my boys, and I wasn't kidding. This kit has soooo much cute stuff in it!! Here's what I came up with, also using some awesome new stitches she's released (she has a couple sets, but I used Little Sew & Sew {Framed Set}).
{Also used: EZ Originals v.2 (template)}
I LOVE how this page turned out!!
