Template Freebie!

Man, I've been so forgetful today!! I also had a template I was going to share with you all and completely forgot about it! LOL Better late than never, I guess. So here it is....

I almost forgot to let you know about the new October Daily Download at Scrap Matters! The SM Design Team created a REALLY cute kit for October and you'll be able to download a little bit of it each day... for FREE!

New goodies

I have some really exciting news that I'll be sharing next week!!! Until then, though, here are a few more layouts I've done...





These two pages were created using Sarah Bennett's new Drewskie paper packs and her new Felty Alpha. The patterned papers are in her store and you can snag the solid ones for free on her blog!
I also used elements from backyard friends, Pretty Little Lady, and In a Boy's World all from Sarah Bennett.




This other adorable kit is new at Scrap Matters this week and is PERFECT for my two-year-old! It's called Terrible Twos and it's by Plum Dumpling Designs.


I love, love, LOVE this page that I did with it!



Last, but not least, my little sister turned 9 this week! So I made her this cute card for her birthday. It was SO fun to do something totally flowery and girly! With only two boys, I don't get to do that very often. :)



I used Pretty Little Lady, Kinda Classy Alpha, and Circles and Squares Templates (modified) by Sarah Bennett.

Christmas already???

I've had last year's Christmas pictures hanging over my head all year and decided that I need to finish them up before THIS Christmas rolls around! So, here is the first of several using Jingle All the Way by GG Digital Designs and a template by Sus Designs:

I loved how it turned out and I think it's mainly because of the adorable sparkly elements in this kit.

I also did a page for this week's Grand Theft Layout challenge at Scrap Matters. I lifted Love This Face by canadianmommy and made this fun page of Evan's first day of preschool.

I used Kindergarten Kid by GG Digital Designs and Border Dates by Erica Zane.

Last, but not least, I'm SO excited that Scrap Matters has been scheduling some Speed Scraps at a later time lately! It works out much better for me over here on the west side of the country because they are after my kiddos go to bed! There's one scheduled for tonight at 8pm MST. If you haven't tried a speed scrap yet, DO IT! They're lots of fun.

Time for fall!

Such a gorgeous kit with rich, deep colors. I love it! This page was also for the template challenge at Scrap Matters.

I have been so busy this week getting ready for my son's preschool, it's amazing I've gotten any scrapping done at all! We are doing Joy School, which is a home based preschool where the moms rotate teaching. This week (the first week of school) was my week to teach! I made this fun cover for our information binder:

I used Explore. learn. grow. by Sahlin Studios. SUCH an awesome kit! I can't wait to use it again for an actual layout.

I also scrapped my son's first day back to preschool using Kindergarten Kid by GG Digital Designs.

I also used Erica Zane's Border Dates with this page.

I've been in a scrapping mood for the first time in weeks (months?) so I might have even more to share very soon! :)

News!

So much to share today!! (That's what happens when you're a blogging slacker!) I have officially started my guest spot at Scrap Matters!! Woo hoo! I'm beyond excited!! I'm going to be doing a lot of scrapping tonight. ;)

Speaking of Scrap Matters and scrapping tonight, there is going to be a speed scrap!

We are going to be out car shopping tonight, but I'm really hoping I'll make it back in time for this! The prize is an awesome pack of templates.
